Summary

This wind energy computation activity challenges students to use real-world data to calculate energy output and analyze trends. Using a provided dataset and a graph of global wind energy generation, high school students calculate the average annual increase in wind generation, determine percentage shares of electricity, and use their findings to estimate future generation. This exercise strengthens quantitative reasoning and data interpretation skills.
